Roy Ong

Roy is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at 2degrees Mobile. He has over 20 years of marketing strategy, market research and marketing communications experience from roles in the telecommunications and consumer products industry.

Roy previously worked for consumer goods company Comvita, where he was Chief Global Sales and Marketing Officer, helping Comvita reach its revenue, growth and strategy targets globally.

Roy has also worked in Tokyo as Kirin’s Global Market Development Director for Asia and South America, where he worked to drive expansion through merger, acquisition and joint venture growth initiatives.

Specializing in innovation strategy, Roy was Marketing Director of Innovation for Lion Nathan focusing on disruptive product innovation to deliver category growth

Roy has also worked in senior marketing roles with The Warehouse Group, New Zealand Post Group and Heinz.

Roy is passionate about delivering amazing customer experiences and demonstrating how a customer first approach contributes to the overall marketing strategy of an organisation in delivering the financial targets of a business.
